Blogbites: The Weight of Remembering
Blogbite 1. “Remembering the past
Is not as weightless as I thought it would be
Because a chocolate kiss is more than chocolate,
more than a kiss,
more than a restaurant
more than what it is.” 11/16/06
BLogbite 2. I was in UP with Gus most of the day yesterday. He toured me around and I fell in love with the campus. There was an intangible sense of freedom there and Gus and I had a field day with all the gorgeous “views”. *evil laughter* Ohohohoho!!! Hopefully, I pass the examinations and pursue my law education there. *starts praying really hard* Back then, I just suddenly remembered how much I enjoy Gus’ company. He’s one of the very few people I completely trust with my “true self” and our rapport has always been something I cherish and feel amazed about.
Blogbite 3. Remembering the past with old friends is always fun. After going around UP, Gus and I split up so that I could go to Greenhills and hang out with Ian. We went shopping for his belt bag and a crystal case for my cellphone and saw the new James Bond flick. What can I say? Ian’s genuinely one of the nicest and most thoughtful people I know. He even tried to buy a dress as an early Christmas gift for me! My HIP days are one of the best memories I have but the people I got close to and met there are the best!
Blogbite 4. Gus, Scarlet, Bheng and I will be hanging out in Greenhills tonight. I’m looking forward to it, it’s a nice way of getting everyone together to hear Gus’ big news. As to that, I still feel sad about it–I’m really going to miss my besty and it’s not gonna be the same not having someone to text or call during a hyperventilating moment. *sighs*

I really envy you for having such wonderful friends who are more than willing to see you through everything. Perhaps karma? Haha!
UP is REALLY a great place, I plan on taking MBA there when time (and work [and money {and energy}]) permits. Keep on blogging about that balancing act hehe, perhaps that’ll tip the scales. Currently, I’m torn.
Oh well, just keep on having fun! Life is good! Carpe diem!!
