Top 10 Bishounen
Earlier, I was thinking of posting something about how I found my anime self in Arima Souichiro but then again, I’ve been wanting to compile a list of my all-time favorite anime guys for sheer fun and posterity, so without further ado, here now are my top ten bishies and all around dream guys! *rabid fangirl mode on*
1. Arima Souichiro. Kareshi Kanojo No Jijou. I think the reason I love Arima so much is because he reminds me of myself. From childhood abuse to the need for perfection to hide my “dark” side to a love so intense that the need to control emotions is there. *sighs* I love his japanese-que dark eyes and beautiful smile. I love it when he’s in the perfect guy mode, I love it when he snaps and I love it when he’s so bloody passionate… *sighs* Beautiful. Just beautiful. His anime love interest is Miyazawa Yukino and they’re officially a couple.
2. Ishida Uryuu. Bleach. Okay, so sue me, I absolutely love guys with glasses! I also love archer characters! With his rich black hair and dark blue eyes, the Last Quincy sends hearts fluttering not only with his knight in shining armor tendencies but also his ability to create kawaii fashion! ^_^ Ishida has no anime love team although it was said that he fell in love with the Bounto woman, Yoshino.
3. Shinamori Aoshi. Ruruoni Kenshin. Ice blue eyes. The stoic and bleeding heart behind the steel attitude of Oniwabanshuu’s former okashira turned ruthless renegade and Misao’s Aoshi-sama! I just fell in love with him, his back story is amazing and made me sympathize with him even as he tried to kill Kenshin! Although it was intended that Aoshi and Misao be a couple, it was never really cleared whether or not they ended up together.
4. Miroku. Inuyasha. The perverted monk with the air rip, who’d have thought he’s hot? But he is, as many Miroku fans agree! he has a deeper side to his ecchi self and he is pretty hot with his violet eyes and short ponytail! Now if only he could stop flirting, he’d be much hotter! His pairing with Sango, the demon exterminator is finally official! Wai!
5. Sohma Yuki. Fruits Basket. UWAA!!!! Yuki-kun! The Prince of their high school, with brains, impeccable manners and ethereal beauty to match, Yuki is every girl’s fantasy, even mine! I really love his character because he’s had a rough childhood and again, the perfect veneer. But then again, it could be the fact that I love pretty boys! Yuki used to show that he really likes Tohru although right now, the canon pairing seems to be gearing towards a Kyou-Tohru ending, Yukiru fans still haven’t lost hope for the pair!
6. Li Syaoran. Cardcaptor Sakura/Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle. *Sobs!* I just– really, really love him! Even though he’s a kid, I really fell in love with his character, I’m not sure if he’d be qualified in the bishounen department, but maybe his future self in TRC will do. I just love the way he’d sacrifice anything, do everything for the girl he loves! Sakura is his love team both in CCS and in Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle. In TRC, Syaoran is said to be blind in one eye. *NOOOOO!!! Sobs!*
7. Von Fanel. Escaflowne. Intense and brash, the Prince of Fanelia never expected to fall in love but he did. Von and Hitomi’s love story is one my favorites and I really love the way he protected Hitomi and how he kept all his feelings inside. His wings are also beautiful. Official pairing, Von and Hitomi! It’s just so sad they got separated in the end!
8. Kurapika. Hunter x Hunter. Okay, another pretty boy on my list but I just got to say, I really love him! He doesn’t really speak much and is always cool and poised except when you mention the Spider Gang and his eyes start blazing of revenge. Now there are a lot of controversies with who Kurapika’s anime match is, there is a very strong yaoi undercurrent between Leorio and Kurapika but crack lovers like myself am hoping he ends up with a girl!
9. Rukawa Kaede. Slamdunk. “Super Rookie” and basketball genius, Rukawa has his own fan club. He’s a man of few words and mostly his replies are sarcastic (because of Sakuragi). He also has the habit of instantly falling asleep even while riding a bike! His SD self is simply kawaii!!! ^_^ Hmmm, Haruko Akagi was madly in love with Rukawa but he never really noticed her, his first and last love seems to be basketball although yaoi fans are pushing for a Rukawa x Sakuragi pairing.
10. Nogi Ruka and Hyuuga Natsume. Gakuen Alice. I know, they’re kids! But they certainly made me wish I was younger! So consider the two of them as bishounen with their ages added up. They’re just so darn cute! And I love their stoicness. ^_^ Both boys are being romantically linked to Mikan Sakura but there’s really no definite pairing yet since the manga is ongoing and yeah, they’re kids.
I do have runner ups though like Hotohori (Fuushigi Yuugi), Aya Fujimiya (Weiz Kreuz), Kairi Okayasu (Peach Girl), Akira Ijuin (20 faces Ni Onegai & Clamp School Detective), Kenshin Himura (RK), Kamui and Sorata (X1999), Kudo Shinichi (Detective Conan), Kuchiki Byakuya (Bleach), Mayama (Honey and Clover), *whew* the list seems to grow longer with every anime I watch! Comments, suggestions, who did I miss? Let me know!
I guess my taste really runs to pretty boys with brains and talk to the hand kind of attitude! Now if only I can find those ten guys here in real life! UWAA!!!! ^_^

i really love taht especially when u say that uryuu is inluv with yoshino because yoshino’s my best friend in school but i hate him because he is stated to kill me in bleach 104 but it was fun!!!that i battled him.

I LOVE GAKUEN ALICE! I LOVE NATSUME AND RUKA_PYON!! I Seen all episodes which is 1-26 and I’ve read almost all there chapters 1-87 and i’m in LOVE with them!!! I”M TOO OBSESSED!! Natsume should be no.1
the anime didnt do a very good job of recreating the style that the manga has, and natsume’s voice doesnt exactly suit him.
read the manga, and youill see.
also, because they go more depth in his character in the manga, he looks even better.
ah, and about that candy!
yeah, he turned 15 and fondled mikan and said, :”boobs didnt grow at all” cause she also ate the candy and became 15.

I love Syaoran TRC first. He is so gentle and kind-hearted…
Natsume is number 2, altough he is cold and scary, he is so brave and kind-hearted, too.
But, I don’t prefer Ruka for 5 top of my favorite… altough he is so sweet in his smiling face, his alice is so… embarrassing and make me while watching is laugh… Haha

Well I only know four on this list but the ones I do know are pretty cute. My favorite bishie and character in general is Kurama of Yu Yu Hakusho. Oh, he is definitely the most precious anime guy in all of anime. But thats just me. I dont know if you know of this foxy redhead.
