Real
I’ve been listening to a lot of songs lately and Real has been playing over and over in my head, maybe it’s because the first line is somewhat as “real” to me as my present. I’ve been having a couple (but thankfully not a lot) of self-esteem issues but thankfully, it’s all been resolved. Anyway, “Real” is a nice song by Plumb, I just wanted to share it.
Also, sidenote, after this hellish week and when I’ve officially turned 23–it’s time for me to start seeing other things which are as real as my feelings.
Look at me I’m twenty three
Beautiful a sight to see
Tonight
A little dress to draw the press
And I’ll be leaving
All the rest behind
Well be pleased girl
If this is what you wanted
The whole world is watching you take the stage
What will you say
Aren’t I lovely
And do you want me cause
I am hungry for something that will make me real
Can you see me and
Do you love me cause
I am desperately searching for something
Real
I close my eyes imagine time
Will not forget
My sacrifice
I numb the ache and decorate
My emptiness
Stand naked in the light
Well be pleased world
If this is what you wanted
This young girl is everything that you made
What will she say
Aren’t I lovely
And do you want me cause
I am hungry for something that will make me real
Can you see me and
Do you love me cause
I am desperately searching for something
Real
The world goes home
The lights go down
My lipstick fades
Away
And do you want me cause
I am hungry for something that will make me real
Can you see me and
Do you love me cause
I am desperately searching for something
Real

Orlando Bloom Gets Axed in Pirates 3?!?
IIEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! OMG!!!! I heard from the Hollywood grapevine that the Pirate executives are cutting Orlando Bloom’s character, Will Turner from the last installment of Pirate of the Caribbean.
I am such a big fan of Pirates of the Caribbean–I’ve watched ”Curse of the Black Pearl” (2003) & ”Dead Man’s Chest” (2006) countless times, feasting my eyes and pleasing my ears on Johnny and Orlando’s antics and physique. So many times did I wish I was Kiera Knightly but then again…I was just as content watching it on the big screen with a huge bucket of buttered popcorn or wearing my DVD player down from watching it over and over again while eating Holy Kettle and Lay’s Sour Cream and Onion.
And now this development, honestly, on the way to work after hearing that news, I could think of little else. I love the character of Will Turner, so sue me, I have a thing for pretty boys! But he’s a BIG character from the very beginning and it feels cheap if you cut his character down without getting closure in the story, after all, there is an ongoing love triangle between Jack, Elizabeth and Will and Will’s father is still cursed as an undead pirate.
I know that “Pirates” is basically riding on Johnny Depp’s shoulders because everybody loves Captain Jack Sparrow, people in France are wild over the tipsy looking, not quite straight pirate but while I also love (actually, insanely adore) Captain Jack Sparrow, it’s heartbreaking for me to know that Orlando’s character gets killed with no preliminaries just because Johnny Depp is the star. Why not kill minor characters like the Elizabeth’s former fiancee Norrington (Jack Davenport) or better yet, why not kill Keira Knightly’s character, Elizabeth Swann? That way, Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom could go off into the sunset together as the “Pirates of the Caribbean”!
Uwah!!!! *gets the chills imagining the faces of Orlando Bloom and Jonnhy Depp in the setting sun and with the wind blowing against their faces*
“Yo, ho, yo, ho/ a pirate’s life for me/ Yo, ho, yo, ho/ it’s a pirate’s life for me/drink up me hearties, yo, ho…” — sung by the young Elizabeth Swann in Curse of the Black Pearl
Jack Sparrow: [looking at all the swords] Who makes all these?
Will Turner: I do. And I practice with them three hours a day.
Jack Sparrow: You need to find yourself a girl mate. Or perhaps the reason you practice three hours a day is that you already found one, and are otherwise incapable of wooing said strumpet. You’re not a eunuch are you?
Will Turner: I practice three hours a day, so when I meet a pirate, I can kill it.Jack Sparrow: The only rules that really matter are these: what a man can do and what a man can’t do. For instance, you can accept that your father was a pirate and a good man or you can’t. But pirate is in your blood, boy, so you’ll have to square with that some day. And me, for example, I can let you drown, but I can’t bring this ship into Tortuga all by me onesies, savvy? So, can you sail under the command of a pirate, or can you not?
Don’t kill off Will Turner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *sets a picket with a picture of Orlando Bloom beside her*
